You see, you and I need the Holy Spirit to understand and comprehend eternal truths. God’s foolishness, which is the greatest wisdom, is one you can’t understand with the wisdom of the wise. In first Corinthians 1 and 2 you can read a wonderful explanation. I always see two levels: the wisdom of the wise, which you receive by the grace of God; and a higher level, God’s foolishness, which you can only understand through the Holy Spirit. Then you will see that that is the highest wisdom.
