From a young age I have enjoyed reading and exploring classic Christian literature, sermons, and devotionals. Too often the modern church neglects such timeless works which seek to challenge the very heart of our faith and impart profound biblical truths and insights for the weary disciple. This recommended reading list is a culmination of some of my very favorite books which, not only have encouraged me over the years, but helped me understand more fully the call to abandon all for Christ.

So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.
